WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY : SNAPSHOTS TO BE CHERISHED. Photography is one of the most significant components of a wedding plan and for many couples this is one area they spend a vast amount of their time and consideration. For the most part, photographs will be the only tangible reminder of this milestone in the couple's life, which is why reliability, creativity and professionalism rank high as criteria to compare one photographer to another during the selection process. Choosing a photographer whom you will entrust the responsibility of creating and capturing enduring images that will stay with you for the rest of your life takes time and effort. Certainly, finding an artistic photographer who is able to convey the emotions and significant nuances of your wedding day is the ultimate goal.
The 3 main approaches to wedding photography are traditional portraiture, a photojournalist technique that captures real moments and a combination of the two. With so many photographers to choose from - each with their own signature styles and pricing levels - the task of evaluating the options may initially seem daunting. As with other areas of your planning, start by asking for recommendations, both from friends as well as other service providers. Than do the rounds. The legwork required is definitely worthwhile as the professional photographer' artistry, creativity, knowledge of wedding and experience in photographic angles will undoubtedly leave lasting impressions.
PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY. The contemporary approach to pre-wedding portrait is making inroads into the market traditionally dominated by bridal studios. Not content with having to pose for hours on end in an indoor studio, photographers and couples are taking to the outdoors with the aim of creating more stylistically appealing pictures. Suffice to say, the creativity of the modern-day photographer coupled with the enthusiasm of cosmopolitan minded urbanites have opened the door to many interesting ways of capturing formal portraits of the bride and groom. Beaches, rainforests, the city skyline and heritage building with great architecture detail are just among some of the many backdrops one can consider. The dramatic landscapes of our country offer an almost endless choice of locations, perhaps only constrained by the wedding budget. Having said that, the advent of low cost air travel has also contributed to the growth of the 'destination wedding photography' segment of the market. It is now much more affordable for couples to fly to a 'special' location with photographer as well as a hairstylist and makeup artist in tow for a pre-wedding shoot.
SOME ADVANTAGES OF PRE-WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY :
* Relaxed pace. Not having to negotiate the activities of an actual wedding day makes it possible for the couple to be more relaxed. Both the couple and photographer would also be able to take their time capturing shots.
* Location. It is possible to travel to spectacular locations that will from perfect backdrops for photos.
* Showpiece. The portrait can be displayed on the actual wedding day, either in albums or as a multimedia presentation.
EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY. Photojournalism is the 'it' world in actual day wedding photography. And capturing natural as well as spontaneous images as the day unfolds in a story like manner is the preference of many contemporary couples. An increasing number of professional photographers profess to advocating this stylistic and inventive approach and the resulting albums that document this milestone in a couple's lives are testament to the artistic inclinations of these testeful expert. Whilst candid shots and stylish impressions may take precedence, it is still necessary to include some traditional, formal 'posed' shots, particularly images of the bride and groom with family, relatives and close friends. An experienced wedding photographer will strike a fine balance between traditional portraiture and a photojournalist approach in order to create a range of shots that reflect the entire emotions and significance of the day.
DIVERSITY. The keen eye and quick reflexes of a photographer can result in images that the naked eye may not have observed during a wedding. These are professional traits that are developed with exeperience covering weddings past. Such skills are extremely important in an Asia society like ours where cultural and traditional practices make weddings a true spectacle and a feast for the senses. Undoubtedly, knowledge of customs distinguish a good photographer from a mediocre one, particularly when rituals, traditions, food and the like, vary from one wedding to another. It is therefore imperative that the photographer is armed with a complete itinerary of the day's activities. This will allow him or her to plan ahead, remain focused and keep a lookout for as many spontaneous and memorable moments as possible to capture.

RADEN PUTRA PHOTOGRAPHY
It's taking you back to the moment. And that's how we work : We capture the feeling, so the feeling can capture you....
What we do ?
We are a group of passionate wedding photographer base in Batu Pahat and travels wherever it takes to capture the best moment of wedding day. Capturing artistic, dramatic and photojournalistic wedding photography.
What makes us different ?
We offer engagement sessions where the photographer gets to know the couples better in a session of fun and casual shooting. In this way, the couple will not only enjoy themselves but also let their hair down and open up to us more. Building a good relationship with the couple is as important as getting our exposure right in the camera. When we get more personal and befriend the couple prior to the actual day wedding, they will feel more comfortable doing things with us around. We shoot specifically candid shots... we see ourselves more towards documenting an event rather then orchestrating it... moments fleet and we can't make them act it out.
What we enjoy most about the business ?
Getting to meet different people and their love stories ! Wedding are happy occasions, how can we not enjoy ourselves when we are always lurking in such a happy environment.
Tips from Raden Putra Photography.
If you are looking for photographers, just make sure first and foremost you comfortable with communicating with them. Once that is sorted, the rest really falls into place... happy choosing.
